If it's too much, I'll have to forget it and stick the old Focus module back in as that worked fine. Perhaps Ford can reflash it? Any ideas on ballpark cost to do this? Would they do it under goodwill as the car is only 2 months out of warranty? There is definitely power to the module as my USB stick starts flashing when it's inserted! Is there a way I can flash the module myself given that I can't initiate one of Ford's updates via the USB socket because the car can't communicate with the module? Plugged it in and when I press 'Phone', it simply mutes the radio which I think means the car doesn't have communication with the module. Today, I decided to dig out the original module from the Mondeo (8M5T-19G488-AK) to try and get it working. Trouble is, the Bluetooth and USB hasn't worked on my car since I bought it (second hand) and I simply plugged in a generic Bluetooth module from my old Focus that I happened to have laying around (!) and that has worked fine. I have the TravelPilot NX sat nav system and Bluetooth with USB factory-fit on my Mondeo.
